How to install the app
Bench Boss is a web app. There is no app store and nothing to download. Add it to your phone or computer in three taps.
Chel only Bench Boss is exclusively for Chel (EA NHL's EASHL club mode, 6s and 3s) at this time. Versus and other modes may come later.
iPhone / iPad (Safari)
- Open your club's Bench Boss link in Safari (not inside another app).
- Tap the Share button (the square with the arrow).
- Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Open Bench Boss from your Home Screen. It runs full screen like a normal app.
Android (Chrome)
- Open your club's Bench Boss link in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
- Tap Install app (or Add to Home screen), then Install.
- Open Bench Boss from your app list or Home screen.
Desktop (Chrome or Edge)
- Open the Bench Boss link in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (a small screen with a down arrow), or the ⋮ menu → Install Bench Boss.
- Confirm Install. Bench Boss opens in its own window and shows up in your Start menu or Applications folder.
- Safari on Mac: File → Add to Dock.
